Listing fees and your total selling costs
Understand the listing fee before comparing the rest of your estimated selling costs.
By the Flat Rate Realty Team · Seller resource
Start with the listing side
Flat Rate Realty Group’s listing fee is $3,300 for homes priced under $500,000 and 0.85% for homes priced above $500,000. Confirm pricing with the team at exactly $500,000. The listing agreement term is 120 days.
Separate the other costs
Buyer’s agent compensation, if agreed, is additional. Closing charges, payoff amounts, taxes, and any negotiated concessions can also affect your proceeds. Ask for an estimate based on your property and transaction rather than treating the listing fee as the whole cost of selling.
Compare the same things
When reviewing proposals, compare listing fees, the services described in writing, agreement length, and any additional charges. Commissions are negotiable. A comparison percentage is an example, not a required or standard rate.
Review your estimated proceeds
Use the listing-fee calculator as a starting point, then request a more complete estimate from the team and your closing professionals. Final amounts depend on the contract and closing figures.
